Sailing Area - HINT: It's the blue bit ;)
The red dots mark the approximate position of the buoys. The buoys are red, round and with white numbers (and possibly a white top). The windward mark is a moveable large round black buoy. The start finish pins are round yellow buoys with a pole out of the top. It is up to the race officer if he wishes to use these as markers.
Area to take note of:
- Between buoys 2 and 3 is an area used by the model yacht club. There are a number of small buoys used by the club in this area.
- There are shallows between buoy 4 and the bank.
- There are shallows behind the island between buoys 4 and 5. It is sailable but watch the depth.
- The water between buoy 1 and the club house is used by children for swimming and general messing about. Please be careful when sailing in this area especially during the summer.
There is also a Black and White version (no blue bit) for Printing, If you can't remember where the buoys are.
